Details of our big day

Crystal Ballroom

The ceremony and reception (dinner and dancing) will be in the Crystal Ballroom. The Crystal Ballroom is a McMenamin's property. The ground level is Ringlers Pub, the second floor has a lobby, the brewery, Lola's Room, and some dressing rooms. The third floor is the Crystal Ballroom, the Stage, and a Balcony. The Crystal Ballroom was built as a dance hall in 1906. The ballroom floor is unique, it was built as a floating floor (or suspended ballroom), with a unique spring to each of your dance steps. It may be the only ballroom of its kind left in the country.

We hope you'll take advantage of the floor and some live music throughout the night, we'll even be teaching the basic steps to a couple of ballroom dances during the changeover intermission. After the ceremony in the ballroom, we'll all move downstairs to Lola's room for appetizers, drinks, and dance lessons. Then we move back upstairs for dinner, followed by dancing. Please dance, it will make Brooke happy. By the way, Brooke and I, along with Classic Tap Dance Studio, will be hosting free beginning ballroom dance lessons on Saturday, March 13 & 20, at 11:30am.  Thank you to Jane and Danny for teaching.  Please call, email or text Brooke or Scott if you'd like to go, or just show up.

Hotel deLuxe

We have blocked off (with a room discount) rooms in the nearby Hotel deLuxe. Much of our wedding party, family, many of our out of town guests, and Brooke and will be staying here. We may even keep the celebration going at the hotel after the reception is over. Be sure to mention the Bridegum-Odle wedding if you'd like to book a room here.
